Operating since 1996, SMB Engineering & Constructions is a privately owned, Australian company based in Tomago, New South Wales. We have a carefully chosen team of highly qualified professionals and tradespeople that are known for their ability and quality of work.
Our extremely flexible approach to making things happen and a strong focus on customer satisfaction makes us the first choice for engineering and construction projects. Our slogan is 'Simply Much Better' and we use this as a fundamental motivation throughout our organisation and as the cornerstone of our business philosophy.
We have established on-going contracts with Centennial Coal, we have RTA prequalification & Hunter Water Corporation preferred supplier status, and many other long-term business relationships with customers through providing professional and high standard workmanship. We have a credible network of sub-contractors and a broad range of suppliers to ensure that we always produce a viable result.
At SMB Engineering & Constructions we aim to be Simply Much Better and strive to maintain our excellent reputation for providing solutions to a wide variety of industries and situations and undertaking multidiscipline steel work.
Our workshop at Tomago is located at 13b School Drive and is set on 1.5 acres. We currently have a workshop area of 2000m2. Our workshop is fitted with 2 x 10 tonne overhead cranes whilst our outdoor storage and delivery area is serviced by a yard crane and forklift.
Our workshop has the capacity to handle projects up to 20 tonne with the approximate dimensions of 4m x 5m. We also have the ability to carry out work on a 24 hour basis should the project require. We have the following equipment in our workshop; a radial drill, lathe, MIG welders, 45 tonne punch and shears, rotabroaches, VRD welders, plasma cutter, horizontal & vertical bandsaw, mandrel & conventional pipe benders, 200 tonne brake press, sheet metal rolls, 2 pulse migs and TIG welding capabilities for welding both aluminium and stainless steel. Industrial abrasive blasting and spray painting facility. We also have the ability to carry out drafting services on projects.
